LUKE MANNING
IT CONSULTANT
I’m currently working as the IT Manager for a number of diverse small and medium businesses across Sydney and NSW. My role is both technical and managerial and includes everything from user support to quoting and project managment as well as deploying hardware and software solutions.
I graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2013 with a double degree in Engineering (Bioinformatics) and Science (Genetics). While I don’t use much of the science day to day the critical thinking and programing skills I developed throughout university are constantly useful.
I love scripting and automation both at work and at home. Whether that’s writing scripts to ensure tasks are always completed correctly and at the right time, developing web and Android applications or setting up triggers for my smart devices around the house.

I’ve developed a web application that will allow you to randomly and secretly assign each person at your event another person to purchase a gift for. The assignments can be emailed automatically or can be provided directly via a unique username so each person can retrieve their assigned person manually.
GLUTEN FREE INGREDIENTS
I’ve created an Android application that allows you to quickly search for ingredients and determine if they contain gluten, this is extremely useful for people like myself with Coeliac Disease or anyone following a gluten free diet.
